Trainings in South Africa for farms on 8 and 10 October 2019

Two half-day training sessions are available for farms on 8 October and 10 October 2019 in Riebeeck Kasteel, South Africa.

The content is tailored to the farms environment and to the South African wine sector, and delivered in Afrikaans. They will take place from 9 to 13. The trainings are organized in co-operation with amfori, SKA (Kruger, Swart & Associates) and the Nordic Alcohol Monopolies.

Intro to amfori and Occupational Health and Safety for Farms

Audience:

Senior and middle level management in food producers and farm managers and supervisors.

Learning objectives:

  • Understand amfori BSCI and the monitoring system

  • Understand what the most common and most critical risks in the sector of wine farming are and how to address them.

  • How to conduct a risk assessment

  • What is a SMS and why is it important? 

We encourage importers and producers to deliver this message further to their grape farmers.
