Listing process and product range
All rules and practices concerning the listing procedure are in one instruction document.
Step-by-step instructions for offering products and submitting tenders
Sensory evaluation and additional samples
Alko chooses the products to be listed in the general selection using a sensory evaluation process. Additional samples are requested of products that proceed from the sensory evaluation to the next stage in the listing process.
Products in the general selection and in the specialties are allocated to shops centrally by product groups using selection profiles.
Products that e.g. complete the product range or are for smaller target groups can be offered to the sale-to-order selection. The request for tenders process is not included in the listing of sale-to-order products.
Taste styles of wines
Red and white wines are divided into different groups of taste styles.
Markings on bag-in-boxes
Bar codes on transport packages
Markings on labels and sales packages
