New Generic Spirit Theme Name for Spirit Specialties

Alko changes the spirit specialties theme communication in digital channels.
Alko has had discussions with the supervisory official, Valvira, about how to present spirit specialties on alko.fi pages. As the marketing of spirits is forbidden in Finland, the presentation needs to be as neutral as possible.

According to the Valvira’s recommendation Alko changes the spirit specialties theme communication in digital channels. In the future all spirit products (over 22 % ABV) will be shown monthly under the same theme: spirit specialties. Alko shows all spirits in equal manner in alko.fi pages.

This doesn’t have an affect to specialty product tenders which Alko has already published for the beginning of 2019.
