A living wage is defined as the minimum income necessary for a worker to meet their basic needs such as food, housing, clothing, health care and education. There are several ways to calculate living wage but one the most well-known and widely acknowledged is the Anker methodology. Amfori BSCI has published a living wage related document in 2020.
