Bulletin for suppliers: Utilization of laboratory analysis in the sensory evaluation of product searches will be continued

In the preliminary evaluation phase of the sensory evaluation of product searches, a taste type prediction based on laboratory analyzes may be utilized.

Laboratory analysis can determine the probability that the product offered belongs to a particular taste type. This probability prediction can be used to preliminary evaluation of the products offered for search. The final evaluation of the search and the purchase decision are made based on the normal evaluation process. The decision to use preliminary evaluation based on laboratory results will be made once the number of products offered for search has been confirmed.

During autumn, taste type prediction based on laboratory analyzes will be continued and the following product searches published in the Selection plan 1/2022 will be tested: W210902, W210905 ja W210906. The test searches for Selection plan 2/2022 will be announced later.
