Delivery options for business customers

As our business customer, you can choose delivery either to your corporate address, directly to the venue or to an Alko store location.

The speed of delivery is affected by the availability of the ordered products. Alko has three different delivery times for products. Orders are always sent in one delivery, when all the products in the order are available in stock. The choice of delivery method and the delivery location also affect the delivery time.

For online shop orders, you can see the estimated delivery date when you choose the method of delivery and payment when placing the order. You can also check the date from the order confirmation or the My Alko section on the Alko.fi web page.

Delivery to business premises

The order is delivered to the company’s address or the event venue on the entrance floor. If the order includes a serving licence number, the order can only be delivered to the licenced premise.

  • Products available in 1–5 working days: delivery in 2–3 working days
  • Products available in 6–7 working days: delivery in 6–7 working days
  • Products available in 8–15 working days: estimated delivery in 8–15 working days

Time-specific delivery

If you want a business delivery on a specific working day and time, select time-specific delivery. You can request a delivery date at the earliest three working days and up to three months from the placement of the order. The transport company will call you before the delivery.

  • Products available in 1–5 working days: delivery at the earliest 3 working days after ordering
  • Products available in 6–7 working days: delivery at the earliest 7 working days from the order
  • Products available in 8–15 working days: please contact our customer service

Upstairs delivery

As a rule, orders are always delivered to the entrance floor. However, you can order a delivery to upper floors from us as an additional service. Send us a request for a delivery to upper floors by email to customerservice@alko.fi after you have placed an online shop order. Please also indicate the order number in your message.

Collection from a store

The order will be delivered to a store of your choosing.

  • Products available in 1–5 working days: delivery in 4–5 working days
  • Products available in 6–7 working days: delivery in 6–7 working days
  • Products available in 8–15 working days: estimated delivery in 8–15 working days

Collection from a pick-up point

The order will be delivered to the pick-up point of your choosing. Pick-up points are local Alko partners authorised to hand over online shop orders of alcoholic beverages on our behalf.

  • Products available in 1–5 working days: delivery in 2–3 working days
  • Products available in 6–7 working days: delivery in 6–7 working days
  • Products available in 8–15 working days: estimated delivery in 8–15 working days

Express delivery to store

The order will be delivered to the store of your choosing, at the fastest in one working day. One-day express delivery is possible in several stores in large cities in southern Finland and surrounding areas. When choosing your delivery and payment methods during checkout in the online shop, you will see which delivery area your chosen store belongs to.

Delivery fees are charged in the online shop when paying for the order. 

*If you place an order through our customer service or order a delivery to upper floors, you need to make the payment via the Verifone payment link sent by the customer service.

Receiving/collecting an order

The recipient of the order must present an order confirmation and a valid ID. If the recipient is the same person who placed the order, the arrival notification and an ID will be sufficient.

Please note that if you have chosen to collect your order from a store or pick-up point, transport and catering companies cannot be paid to collect your order on your behalf. Under the Alcohol Act, collecting and transporting orders on behalf of a customer in exchange for payment is considered to be an illegal handover.
