Wheat beer is a summery, light and fruity style of top-fermented beer. These beers range from light to dark and clear to cloudy.

You can discern notes of vanilla, citrus, banana and spices.

Usage

A light, fresh wheat beer enjoyed from a tall glass is crowned by a fluffy, long-lasting head.

Try with hot-smoked salmon, goats’ cheese salad or creamy fish or shellfish soup.

How to serve

Wheat beers are best served well-chilled, at 7–10°C. Chilling a bottle from room temperature to the perfect serving temperature takes about two hours in a fridge.
