Food recommendations
- Mutton, lambFlavoursome lamb and mutton can be prepared in many ways. It’s worth choosing a full-bodied beverage to accompany strongly flavoured meats. Lamb is slightly milder in taste than mutton, but the same beverages will work well with both.
Beef BeefAlmost any red wine will work with beef, as long as it’s full-bodied enough. You can also opt for full-bodied beers with beef.Pasta and pizza Pasta and pizzaPasta itself has a neutral flavour, so your choice of beverage will largely be influenced by the other ingredients, such as sauces, fillings and spices. To accompany pasta and pizza, it’s worth choosing a beverage that has the same level of richness as the food.Grilled food Grilled foodGrilling gives food rich aromas of fire and smoke. Your beverage should be similarly full-bodied, but can also be relatively smooth.
Other characteristics
Vegan Suitable for vegansVegan beverages contain no animal-based ingredients, and no animal-based components or materials are used in their production.Biodynamic BiodynamicBiodynamic farming is in many ways comparable to organic farming, as it has the same benefits for the environment. The largest difference is the use of biodynamic products, that farmers use to, for example, pest control and enhance vine growth. Biodynamic farming also follows a strict natural rhythm that is based on the Earth’s movements, seasonal changes, the lunar orbit and circadian rhythm.Natural wine Natural wineNatural wines are produced using natural methods and naturally grown ingredients without the use of synthetic chemicals. For example, no synthetic pesticides are used at all. Wine production does not usually use any chemicals either, as natural wines are not clarified, filtered or stabilised.

Taste
Luscious and jammy reds are medium-bodied, full-bodied or very full-bodied wines that combine ripe berry notes and pronounced jammy flavours.
You can discern notes of cherry jam, wild berry jam or dark plum in these wines. Ripe tannins add the necessary structure for pairing the wines with food.
Usage
Wines with rich flavours and aromas are a good choice when serving meat dishes.
Try with BBQ-marinated pork ribs, beef and vegetable skewers or T bone steaks.
How to serve
Red wines are best served slightly below room temperature, at 16–18°C. Chilling a bottle from room temperature to the perfect serving temperature takes about half an hour in a fridge.
