- Chicken and turkeyChicken and turkey meat is pale and lean. Light beverages usually work best with them, but the more flavour there is, the more full-bodied your drink can be.
Salads & Vegetarian Dishes Salads & vegetarian foodMost salads and vegetarian dishes go well with a fresh and reasonably light wine. When pairing them with beer, the best options are pale, crisp and relatively light beers.Low-fat fish Lean fishLean and medium-fat fish have a relatively mild taste. Your beverages can therefore be quite light and crisp as well.Pasta and pizza Pasta and pizzaPasta itself has a neutral flavour, so your choice of beverage will largely be influenced by the other ingredients, such as sauces, fillings and spices. To accompany pasta and pizza, it’s worth choosing a beverage that has the same level of richness as the food.

Taste
Generous and toasty whites are mouth-filling wines that are dry or medium-dry.
You can discern notes of yellow plum, spices and toasted oak in these wines. The rich finish is exceptionally long.
Usage
The rich, full-bodied character is combined with toasted notes or oakiness, and the wines are a great match not only for oily fish but also for chicken, turkey and even game bird and pork dishes.
Try with flamed salmon, smoked duck or creamy mushroom soup.
How to serve
White wines are best served chilled, at 10–12°C. Chilling a bottle from room temperature to the perfect serving temperature takes about two hours in a fridge.
