- Meditation beverageMeditation beverages are those that are pleasant to enjoy on their own due to their nuanced and complex flavours.
Berries and fruit Berries and fruitsIn general, fruit and berries are best accompanied by light beverages that will echo their sweetly fresh and fruity flavours.Sweet desserts Sweet dessertsThe general rule for pairing a dessert with wine is that the wine should be a little sweeter than the food. Otherwise the flavour of the wine will be lost and it will taste very acidic. It’s also worth trying beer with desserts.Chocolate desserts Chokolate dessertsDark chocolate has a fairly strong flavour that goes best with a full-bodied beer or a rich – and usually sweet – wine. White chocolate has a more delicate flavour, and is therefore better paired with very mild white dessert wines.

Taste
Specialities are beers that are rare or difficult to categorise into one of the generally used beer styles.
The flavours range from crisp, refreshing mild beers to full-bodied, sweet and strong beers. There are both top- and bottom-fermented beers as well as spontaneously fermented beers.
Usage
Some of the specialities are local traditional beers, and others are brand-new products. Examples of specialities are lambic, fruit beers, smoke beers, Trappist beers, flavoured beers, saison and sahti.
Try a Trappist beer with black label Emmental, kriek (cherry beer) with brie, smoke beer with BBQ-seasoned skewers or sahti with sauna-smoked ham.
How to serve
The serving temperature of specialities ranges from well-chilled to slightly chilled, i.e. 7–14°C. Ask one of our expert salespersons about the perfect serving temperature!
